Breaking these rules could get you kicked or banned from our servers. Remember that ignorance is not an excuse.

 

       General Rules

• English only in world chat.

• Any kind of spamming is NOT allowed.

• Advertisement is NOT allowed unless you have permission from the owner Mr.P.

• Racism, insulting, threatening or any kind of actions that can offend or annoy someone is strictly NOT allowed.

• Respect our staff members at all times and if you do not like the current staff member undertaking your case you can request a different one.

• Any form of player or staff impersonation is NOT allowed.
  
  In-game Rules

• All Role-play Staff members on-duty dealing with a situation are considered OOC (Out of Character). They must be ignored out of all RP-related situations until they are finished dealing with it, and are off-duty.

• Using any kind of third-party program, exploiting a bug or any form of modification that can give you an unfair advantage from others is NOT allowed.

• Causing lags or disrupting the RP experience of others in our server is NOT allowed.

• You are NOT allowed to ask for items, tp, refunds or any kind of special service from staff members.

• Be patient when you are asking for help from staff members and don't rage or spam in chat.

• Player names with offensive language are NOT allowed.

• You can NOT change your name in order to confuse, trick or troll someone.

• You are required to have licenses for certain activities, such as when you are hunting it is required for you to have a hunting license.

• You are responsible for your account security. If your friend, dog, cat, mother, son, cousin, etc. logs onto your account and gets you banned it's still your fault and you won’t get unbanned.

• Scamming is NOT allowed although as a citizen of Potato RP, it is your responsibility to take care of your items. Any items that are lost won't be refunded.
  
  RP situation

• Make sure that you follow the rules of the roleplay and act accordingly in roleplay situations.

• If you see someone who is a victim of a crime report it to the nearest police station and let them handle the case instead of trying to be a hero and kill the suspect. 

• Kidnapping and Robbing are restricted except for Mafia and Thief members. And if you are a victim of these crimes, use /emergency <message> stating your location and wait for an officer to help you.

• You are NOT allowed to use OP or unrealistic items that will give you an advantage to the opposite team when role-playing. This includes heavy armour and guns from Breezy NPC.

• Once you died in an RP situation, you CAN'T go back to the place of the RP.

• Before role-playing, it is necessary for all participants to understand how the RP would be. - such as how many players are participating and how everyone will perform the RP.
  
  Fail RP

• Do not try to fight and flee in an RP situation unless your role would give you a reason to do so otherwise, it is considered as Fail RP.

• You are NOT allowed to constantly rob or kidnap someone. You are expected to rob once or twice a day and not at a constant rate.

• As an officer you don't shoot the suspect directly if they are robbing or kidnapping instead, you first give them a warning. You can only shoot if they try to escape or fight back.

• Performing any kind of crimes when there is a bigger number of criminals in the server than officers is NOT allowed.

• You're required to use the appropriate command every time you RP. An example of that is using "/rob <player> <location>" when robbing someone.
  
  KOS

• Revenge kill is considered as KOS

• If there is a rule-breaker and there are NO staffs or officers in the server don't panic and DON'T private message us instead, immediately report it to our discord by creating a ticket or simply type "/report <player> <reason>" in-game. We can't promise to reply immediately, but we will try our best to answer your reports as soon as possible.

• Jumping on roads purposely to get killed is NOT allowed.

• Do NOT kill the player just because he hit or shot you once, maybe it is just an accident! So don't jump immediately to conclusions unless he does it again.
  
  Applying for a private job

• Don't private message or force leaders and admins to accept or read your application, it might take 1-3 days before you get your result.

• You can only apply for 1 private job at a time. If we saw that you've applied for 2 or more private jobs then we will consider your application as invalid.
  
  Private Members

• You are ALWAYS required to wear your uniforms at all times except if you are off-duty. - this rule is only applicable for officers.

• Officers can only set a maximum of 30 minutes of jail time.

• As an officer, you need to stop criminals from doing crimes. Ignoring will get you to kick from the faction.

• You are always required to show a piece of evidence when you are arresting or raiding someone.

• You can ONLY raid the person's base if he or she doesn't want to cooperate from your inspection.
  
  Donators

• You are NOT allowed to spawn a vehicle that has a gun on it and vehicles that causes lags such as dump trucks and blimps.

• Don't spawn too many vehicles on the server if you still have an available vehicle that you can use, use it instead of spawning a new one. 

• Spawning a lot of vehicles to sell is NOT allowed instead, ONLY spawn it the time the buyer is ready to purchase the desired vehicle.

• You are NOT allowed to give or sell your kits to anyone.

• Refunding your purchased items is bannable so please read everything carefully or ask Mr. P from discord before purchasing a product from our store.
